Key to Google Search Ranking is New and Unique Content

In September 2007, I bought the internet name JamesMcGillis.com and began writing this weblog. Since that time, I have posted over two hundred fifteen unique articles. My many subjects include Pre-Puebloan Indian cultures, a Congressional Medal of Honor recipient, LA County Fire Department Aerial Truck 8 and radioactive contamination at the Moab Pile. Each topic was one that I cared about, enjoyed researching and wished to share with the world.

To add unique content to my blog, I began publishing my own photographs. That way, I could tell my stories with both words and pictures. Hoping to catch the eye of readers both young and old, I targeted my content to a ninth grade reading level. Moreover, I continued to write and publish new and unique information. Now, with more than four years of internet experience, I can see the fruit of my labor. Following are a few examples.

In September 2007, I attended the Quantum Leap Celebration in Taos, New Mexico. There, 650 Shaumbra (meaning "those who inspire consciousness") arrived at Taos Station in an Old Energy train. Three days later, we pulled away in the new energy express. At the event, I purchased an “Inspire Consciousness” t-shirt. After taking a picture of my new energy t-shirt, I published it within an article about that event. If you Google “Inspire Consciousness” today and then click “Images”, my t-shirt has #1 Google search ranking.

Elton John Live at the Hollywood Bowl, September 7, 1973 - Photo courtesy Harvey Jordan - Click for larger image (http://jamesmcgillis.com)In November 2007, I wrote about new social networks, which were then taking the internet by storm. At the time, MySpace.com had eighty percent market share, compared to Facebook.com with just over ten percent. Since then, MySpace crashed under the weight of Rupert Murdoch’s ownership. As the epitome of old energy, Rupert could not relate to new media, let alone new energy. MySpace is now an internet afterthought while Facebook is valued at $100 billion. In my 2007 article, I displayed a small Google logo. If you Google “small Google logo” today and then click “Images”, my version has #1 Google search ranking.

In March 2008, I wrote about Elton John’s “lost concert”. On September 7, 1973, Elton had played the Hollywood Bowl, yet at that time there were no pictures or video of the concert on the internet. How could the media overlook such a seminal night, I wondered. Later, legendary rock & roll photographer Harvey Jordan sent me an image of Elton at the piano that night. With Harvey’s permission, I inserted his picture into my original article. In November 2008, I wrote about my souvenir Elton John Hollywood Bowl t-shirt. If you Google “Elton 1973”, “Elton Hollywood Bowl” or “Elton John t-shirt” today, and then click “Images”, Harvey Jordan’s photo, my article and my t-shirt each has its respective #1 Google search ranking. If you purchase an Elton John 9/7/73 t-shirt, Moab Jim will donate $10 to the Elton John Aids Foundation.

In December 2011, I wrote about the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, also in Simi Valley. After visiting the library, I published several outdoor images in my article about Ronald Reagan. Today, if you Google Costantino Proietto (1910 – 1979), you will find my articles about the artist. At the time, there was scant information on the internet about the artist. After publishing an image of my own C.Proietto masterpiece, friends, family and collectors of C.Proietto’s work came forward. With the help of others, I have now published many previously unknown images of the artist’s work. If you Google “Costantino Proietto” or “C.Proietto” today and then click “Images”, my images of his work have #1 Google search ranking.

Amalfi Coast scene, painted by 20th century master, Costantino Proietto (1900-197?) - Click for larger image (http://jamesmcgillis.com)So what does all of this mean? Google, and to a lesser extent, Microsoft’s Bing search engine will reward new and unique content on the internet. So much content has disappeared from the internet in recent years that my “small Google logo” is the oldest extant copy. The key to success on the internet is to add new information without deleting the old. If you do so, Google will raise the search ranking of all related content.

If you plan to write for the internet, rather than using a pay-for-play blog company, consider creating your own blog. By hosting Google AdSense ads on your blog, you can monetize your efforts. When the late Andy Rooney retired from the CBS Television show 60 Minutes, he had broadcast 1097 episodes of his “TV blog”. In order to catch up with Andy Rooney's output, I have 880 articles yet to write. I call that number my stretch goal. Why would anyone create content for Mark Zuckerberg at Facebook to monetize when you can take home the cash yourself? Any ninth-grader reading this article knows the answer to that question.

Chaco Canyon, New Mexico

Seeking the Miracle of Water Near Kin Klizhin Ruin

The Colorado Plateau Province is a physiographic region roughly centered on the Four Corner States. On its southeastern periphery lies what we call Chaco Canyon, New Mexico. In May 2011, I visited the Kin Klizhin Ruin at Chaco Culture National Historic Park. Kin Klizhin is the southernmost outlier of Chacoan Culture, and some say the ancient welcome center for Chaco Canyon itself.

It has been a millennium since the Great Disappearance, or demise of Pre-Puebloan culture on the Colorado Plateau. In the two years since my last visit, I wondered, had anything changed? As I soon discovered, the landscape had changed. In my brief absence, the sands of time had begun their march. The wheel ruts along the access road were a bit deeper, as were the sand drifts at their edges. Some might believe that this is natural evolution here on Earth. Others might see blowing sand as a significant threat to our environment.

Seven members of the Kin Klizhin elk herd stand watch in front of Windmill Hill - Click for larger image (http://jamesmcgillis.com)If there is one defining physical feature on the Colorado Plateau, it is sand. During a visit to the Four Corners, one might see loose sand, quicksand, blowing sand, sand dunes, sandstone and tar sand. Human activities such as road building, motorized sports, cattle grazing and sheep herding all contribute to soil erosion. As frequent regional dust storms stir further soil erosion, we experience a drier, sandier High Southwest. In the two years since my last visit, the approach to Kin Klizhin was scoured of soil in some places and sandier than ever in others. Either way, the sands of the Colorado Plateau were moving once again.

Although I did not feel any rain the afternoon of my visit, a large thunderstorm was sweeping majestically away to the northeast. There was a breathtaking contrast between bright sunshine on the land and dark clouds in the sky. Turning from that spectacle, I saw yet another wonder of nature. It was the Chaco Canyon elk herd, or at least seven members of its southern contingent.

The Kin Klizhin elk herd closes ranks before departing towards Chaco Canyon - Click for larger image (http://jamesmcgillis.com)During my 2008 visit, I had startled an elk herd near Kin Klizhin. At the time, I had taken a picture of five bucks running at top speed. If there was a bull among the 2011 herd, it showed no antlers at all. This led me to believe that there may be more than one Chaco Canyon elk herd. Some visitors have heard their bellows from Gallo Campground, fourteen miles away. Could their voices carry that far, or were there two separate herds? Perhaps there is a greater Chaco Canyon elk herd, with a smaller group at Kin Klizhin. The extent and range of Chaco Canyon elk herds would be a good subject for zoological study.

During my previous visit, I had surprised the herd near an open water source, which was on the east side of the double-track. The 2011 herd, however, was on the west side of the road, standing below an old windmill, and its cast iron water tank. After photographing the elk, I drove slowly along the road. At several points, I stopped again to take pictures of the small herd. Wary of both my vehicle and me, they tightened their ranks and then slowly walked away. As long as I could still see them, they continued to look back and observe me, as well.

A new FIASA brand, Argentine made windmill gleams in the New Mexico sun, near Kin Klizhin, Chaco Canyon, NM - Click for larger image (http://jamesmcgillis.com)During my 2008 Kin Klizhin tour, I had visited Windmill Hill. At the time, the old Aermotor windmill was ragged and derelict, with barely enough structure remaining to suggest the water pump it once had been. Over the past eighty or more years, it had done its job all too well, sucking dry the aquifer over which it stood. The dry and rusty cast-iron tank, with its poorly patched leak holes told a story of profligate water use in earlier and wetter times. For much of the twentieth century, the Aermotor windmill ran continuously from atop this windy hill. Before seizing up, it pumped the last drop of ancient water from the Kin Klizhin aquifer. In my 2008 story, the old windmill symbolized the drying and disappearance of two cultures at Kin Klizhin.

In about 1100 CE, those who had tended the irrigation dam and milpas at Kin Klizhin departed, never to return. The Pre-Puebloan Chaco people had diverted surface runoff, sequestering it behind their hand-built dam. The large amount of ancient water that soaked into the sandy soil later became a
Rust stains on the side of an abandoned water tank create an abstract image of a forest long forgotten - Click for larger image (http://jamesmcgillis.com)target for twentieth century extraction technologies. After centuries of accumulation and a millennium of rest below the surface, that irreplaceable aquifer disappeared in less than a century. Although leakage from the water tank was extensive, the primary usage was even more wasteful. In the high and dry desert, ranchers piped the water to cattle troughs at the site. Exemplifying a lesson of unsustainability, when the well went dry, the ranchers and cattle herds of Chaco Canyon experienced their own Great Disappearance.

As I drove west up the short road to Windmill Hill, sunlight on the Kin Klizhin windmill reflected into my eyes. As if it were a heliostat standing in focused light, the object appeared even brighter than the sun. Before the advent of new energy, all reflected light was weaker than its source. Since the Quantum Leap in energy, reflected light may shine with greater intensity than its light source. Some may pass this phenomenon off as a simple lensing effect. It is, I believe, a local confirmation of Einstein’s larger curved-space theory.

Mangled blades from the old Aermotor windmill at Kin Klizhin lie forgotten on the ground - Click for larger image (http://jamesmcgillis.com)With few intact blades, how could the windmill shine with such brilliance? To my amazement, I son discovered a shiny new windmill atop the old steel tower. Its many galvanized steel blades acted like a Fourth Order Fresnel Lens, refracting and concentrating the light. In Miguel Cervantes book, “Don Quixote of La Mancha”, the inept hero does battle with a windmill that he mistakes for an unfriendly giant. Unfriendly or not, Don Quixote’s windmill at least served a literal purpose.

Was the new Kin Klizhin windmill a flight of fancy or did someone actually think that there was water down there yet to be pumped? Either way, individuals that are more rational had banked the new windmill, so it could not spin to destruction in the wind. In the future, if anyone sees this windmill pumping water, please let me know. I would consider that a miracle of the desert.

When It's Dry, You Can't Swim The River - 2009

When It's Dry, You Can't Swim The River

At Midnight MDT on September 17 - 18, 2009, we honored the second anniversary of the Quantum Leap. With that and the equinox of September 22, 2009 now past, it is a good time to take stock, and write about our feelings.

Today, we wandered around our backyard, using a garden hose and nozzle to water the dry spots. If not everyone yet knows, the Western U.S. is experiencing a long-term drought, with no end in sight. How little water can one household use and still have green lawns? With a twenty-five percent price hike in local water prices here in 2010, we shall find out. Moreover, the drying of the Earth continues apace.

Do two giant dust storms hitting Sydney, Australia this week foretell of Mars-like, planet-wide dust storms here? Yes, but do not let that bother you. As you travel on your local freeway, go ahead and “floor” the gas pedal of your hybrid automobile. If you think you are getting a real bang for your hydrocarbon buck, remember that in the end, we can fool ourselves, but we cannot fool Mother Nature.

Just this week, scientists discovered that Mars has a large subterranean ice sheet, holding as much pure, crystallized water as our Greenland Ice Sheet. Whether ice or water is basking  in the sun, as it does here on Earth or it is hiding cartoon-like, beneath the surface of Mars, by human standards that is a large amount of water.

Last night, as we drove our 400+ horsepower Nissan Titan truck several miles to pick up a pizza, we rolled down the windows and listened to the evening wind whip around the inside of the cab. Since squirrels and children often appear in our headlights at dusk, we allowed the heavy truck to roll slowly down the hill. There, on our left, was a man with his garden hose gushing water into the street. After hand watering our yard for several weeks, his artificial deluge seemed out of place.

“You can’t do that anymore”, we called as we rolled past his position. In our town, you can drive a gasoline-powered truck several miles to pick up pizza, but you cannot open a spigot and let water gush out the end of your garden hose.

Effects on the environment are cumulative, but not always obvious. The marshes in Iraq’s once Fertile Crescent region are dry now, blowing away as dust. As far from our home as that may be, is there cause for alarm? Historians and scientists believe that the Fertile Crescent was the original model for the biblical Garden of Eden. Some say that the area was the cradle of human civilization.

Our climatic conundrum reminds us of an old cartoon about two natives, shown running away from a ferocious lion. One turns to the other and says, “At least I only have to run faster than you.” Many on this Earth have yet to learn that we share this place with many life forms, including a newly discovered one, which is water, itself.

Once we realize that every fractal drop of water is precious, our attitudes toward it will change. During his October 2003 exhibition, Dr. Masaru Emoto, of Japan, ushered in a new age in water crystal photographic techniques. Recognized as the originator of the international Hado water research program and movement, Dr. Emoto’s water crystals “showed the imprint of energy signatures on water”. To produce his beautiful images, Dr Emoto uses DPE (Direct Photo Etching) technology, introduced to him by Doi Photo (now Doi Technical Photo of Yurakucho, Japan). What we divine from Dr. Emoto’s photographic lens is that water is alive.

If you were to ask the average person which natural resource issue has the greatest potential impact on our economy and society, many would say, “Global Warming", followed closely by "Future shortages and the increasing price of oil”. How many of us would say, “Global drought and the end of surface water on Earth?” As valuable as liquefied fossil fuels have been to our recent economic and cultural past, we cannot drink any combustion fuel.

When Midwestern corn states had an opportunity to insinuate ethanol, distilled corn into our gasoline supply, they leapt at the chance. Few motorists today know how much corn-fuel they are burning in their hybrids. Fewer still have contemplated how much water, diesel fuel, coal and natural gas are used in concocting that fuel. Our political system allows corporate farming interests to sell us a stealth fuel at a subsidized and hidden cost. Ill-conceived plans such as that, which neglect the realities of life on Earth, cannot long stand.

Now, the West faces a fuel vs. water challenge far greater than the corn-to-fuel decisions made in the past thirty years. The economies of shale mining and fuel-conversion processing require both water and fuel on an unprecedentedly large scale. Individuals and corporations who promote such plans continue to avoid the issue of water usage. If the American public is not made aware of the oil-shale water use issue, we may all be in peril.

After blasting and crushing the oil-laden rock at their 15,000 acres of approved mining sites, old-energy giants such as Royal Dutch Shell plan to mix the crushed rock with water, and then transport the resulting toxic chemical slurry to their processing plants. Those plants will find it too expensive to detoxify the slurry, so the watery residue will meet its demise in vast settling ponds. During processing, more water will vanish from cooling towers, for dust suppression and for other industrial uses.
The settling ponds at Intrepid Potash's Cane Creek facility at the place called Potash, near Moab, Utah - Click for larger image (http://jamesmcgillis.com)
What water source in the West is large enough to allow such a withdrawal without any commensurate return? Since it will spoil their argument in favor of shale-fuel, “oil-shale conversionists” avoid answering that question. Neither above nor below ground in the Four Corners states does such a volume of water exist, other than in the Colorado River. With continued declining annual flows, both the Upper and the Lower Colorado Basin are already “over subscribed”. Regardless, oil-shale advocates continue to ignore the arguments against using Colorado River water, all the while pretending that there is some other untapped water source available to them. There is not.
An afternoon thunder shower brings water to saguaro cacti - Black Canyon City, Arizona - Click for larger image (http://jamesmcgillis.com)
Therefore, a great people will soon have a choice to make. The choice is – are we ready to give up the Colorado River and its living water in exchange for obsolete, yet somehow seductive liquid fuels? To do so, would be to accept a rape of the land not seen since strip mines overran and destroyed much of Appalachia.

Crossroads are interesting things. When we reach one, we can continue forward, or we can divert to another course. Often unrecognized, we can also make a conscious choice to turn around and go back the way we came. In our current case, "going back” implies that we might see water as a beautiful living thing. If we are able to do so, we might save its life on Earth and our own.

As we conclude this article, the LA Times has several new and interesting facts. Scientists confirm that where ocean water abuts either Greenland ice or Antarctic ice, the glaciers are thinning faster than previously expected. In another story, two large western power providers (Pacific Gas & Electric of California and Public Service Co. of New Mexico) are quitting the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The reason for their withdrawal is the Chamber’s hard line stance against any new climate legislation.
Clouds rolling down the face of the Moab Rim, viewed from the Moab Rim Campark, Moab, Utah - Click for larger image (http://jamesmcgillis.com)
This proves that a change of consciousness can happen in America. As we watch the polar ice caps slip like water through our fingers, decision makers at some greenhouse gas-emitters realize that they and their children must live in the same world that they are helping to create.

Before all liquid water evaporates from the surface of the Earth, we might yet turn around and “go back”. If not, perhaps some future, far-flung culture will use Dr. Emoto’s DPE techniques to detect and document subterranean ice sheets on an otherwise desolate and empty Planet Earth. Will they conclude that Earth once supported life forms more diverse than water itself?

Together or divided, our collective consciousness will determine our future.

Ascension Made Easy - We Are Already Gone - 2008

Ascension Made Easy - We Are Already Gone

In winter, the Southern California Sun shines warm across the land and sea.  Until the next rain, each sunny day seems more beautiful than the previous.  When the Sun is out, our backyard becomes a garden paradise, where we find the keys to fulfillment of our dreams.

Directing one’s own ascension is a simple process.  If you are unfamiliar with the tenets of new energy, the Crimson Circle Channel Library is a good place to start.  Click on the current series to find Geoffrey Hoppe’s latest channelings of Adamus Saint-Germain.

Another Source of new energy information is Esther Hicks, channeling a group of non-physical entities called Abraham.  The Teachings of Abraham website is free to all.

The Daily Motivator”, from Ralph Marston, links to a multimedia slideshow that is focused on new energy.  Six days each week, Ralph publishes a short story of hope and inspiration. A full year's subscription is still only fifteen dollars.
Hubble Telescope image of ascended beings, melding energy bodies - Click for larger image (http://jamesmcgillis.com)
Eckhart Tolle’s classic, “The Power of Now” is a compelling read.  After completing that book, read Tolle’s “A New Earth”.  Although Tolle is human, he writes in The Masters’ voice.

While reading or listening to the voices of Abraham, Marston, Tobias or Tolle, we access an evolving new consciousness.  Is it time for new energy to resonate within each of us?

As human beings, we are artistic in Nature.  As we reach out with our dreams, do they manifest as expected?  That is a trick question, for the answer is always, “Yes”.  If we expect the worst, that is what we will get.  If we halfheartedly believe in our dreams, our hearts create a netherworld, without love or fulfillment.  In that sense, we are the creators of our own destinies.

Gaia - The living body of Earth - Click for larger imageThe artist’s role is to allow the artistic self to flourish in this life.  If we stifle human feelings and desires, our Jungian “Shadow Self” will step forward as the artist.  Law of Attraction tells us that what we think about most, consciously or not, shall manifest.  Not unlike an Ancient Greek carving that shows a snake swallowing its own tail, the protests of an “anti-artist” human become, intrinsically, artistic expression.

As children in the 1950s, we heard news that Watson & Crick had parsed out human DNA.  Suddenly, everyone was talking about genes.  As our inner child grew up, we assumed that human DNA was immutableCharles Darwin's theory of evolution reinforced what geneticists told us.  At conception, they said, chance ruled the recombination of our parental DNA.  Except for the effects of mutagens, such as radioactivity, scientists said that we would live and die with our selfsame personal genome.

Also in the 1950s, scientists told us that the average human utilizes only ten percent of his or her brain.  That pessimistic assessment embarrassed us into thinking that we suffered from deficient minds.  Since we manifest what we think about most, humanity’s acceptance of diminished mental capacity created for us a spiritual glass ceiling.  We started at ten percent brain-function and we expected to die at that same paltry level.

Since it takes only three percent of our DNA to constitute a functioning human body, scientists once considered ninety-seven percent of our DNA to be "junk".  Intuitively, it makes no sense that human DNA should waste so much of our genetic makeup.  With Her penchant for economical modeling of life forms, Nature would not carry a load that is 97% junk.  Still, most humans believe that DNA transmutation is as unlikely as increasing our brainpower.
Human DNA Helix - The long and winding road. - Click for larger image (http://jamesmcgillis.com)
Whether or not we choose our parents at conception, we arrived in our current time-space reality with a limited component of expressed DNA.  Group consciousness, which we refer to as “They”, told us that fertilization of the human egg had locked in our DNA before birth.  “They”, however, were ignorant of new energy potentials.  As we raise human consciousness, each of us may express our DNA as desired.

As you read this passage, stop for a moment and gently clasp your hands over your head; then stretch your arms back to the limits of your comfort range.  Did something inside you feel good?  That indescribable feeling coincides with DNA activation, and a sympathetic release of new energy.

Now, take a several deep breaths.  What, if anything, did you feel this time?  Was your incremental release of new energy higher or lower during the second exercise?  If your energy level rose, that demonstrates the optimism with which you face the future.  If your energy diminished, or if you stubbornly refused to breathe, you may still have room to improve your outlook on life.
The Stone Family, stuck on their path to ascension in Bryce Canyon, Utah - Click for larger image (http://jamesmcgillis.com)
Our desire is to allow a lifting of our personal energy state.  Each day, we start wherever our point of attraction may be, then quest upward towards optimism, bliss and eternal happiness.  When we are optimistic, the artistic or Shadow Self shall flourish.  If we allow optimism, we realize that better-feeling thoughts are always available to us.  With a little practice, we begin to create patterns in our lives that lead us toward our dreams.

One way to bring about change is by offering gratitude to All that Is.  As our emotions well up, and then effervesce, we open an energy bridge to the universe.  Since our effervescent agent is oxygen, conscious breathing provides fuel for our ascension process.  To access new energy, all that we need do is gently stretch our muscles, sit quietly and then breathe.  As we “still our minds”, our hearts become free to create in unending love for All that Is.  In accordance with the Law of Attraction, the universe reflects the love of All that Is back to us.

Whether taking a deep breath or stretching one’s muscles, there are several reasons that we feel our well-being.  Rhythmic breathing, combined with stretching allows our DNA to express itself within our physical, emotional and spiritual bodies.  Our vortex of expressed DNA then opens a portal to higher consciousness
The Quantum Leap Celebration, Taos, New Mexico, September 2007 - Click for larger image. (http://jamesmcgillis.com)
As we surrender, we allow our DNA to express itself towards our fate or destiny.  Law of Attraction says that our dominant energy state, conscious or not, becomes our point of attraction.  By allowing our DNA to change “at will”, we evolve in support of our most prevalent thoughts.  Once a thought is “thought upon”, it becomes part of the universal library of thought.  The artist’s role is to venture beyond current consciousness, discovering the magic of the "now moment".  When the artist shares that moment, the cycle is complete.

If the number of artists seeking change is equal to, or greater than the square root of one percent of a total population, consciousness will move towards that new mode of thought.  Enlightened thoughts carry with them a higher level of vibrational energy than do “negative thoughts”.  Because of their vibrational signature, only positive or enlightened thoughts express themselves as new energy.

As more humans accept the concept of new energy, desire for positive change leads to ever-faster manifestation.  In September 2007, an energy shift created a Quantum Leap of energy on Earth.  A small number of like minded and optimistic individuals had requested that positive change.  In so doing, their individual and collective energy created a potential for change.  Since all humans are coequal co-creators on Earth, it was appropriate for that small group to lead humanity toward new energy and a New Earth.
Book Cover, Kundalini and The Chakras - Click for larger image. (http://jamesmcgillis.com)Watson and Crick gave us the language of DNA, with its tri-nucleotide codons, designated by the letters AGCT.  In so doing, they helped open a new field of human research.  The past fifty years of genetic science coincided with a spiritual reawakening on Earth.  On many subjects, scientific experimentation and spiritual thought converged.  Self-activation of DNA became possible for the first time since the fall of Atlantis.  No longer were we restricted to our birth-complement of DNA.  Through conscious thought, we may now experience evolution in this lifetime.

As we saw with the 2007 Quantum Leap, even a miniscule sample of a given population can precipitate a population-wide shift in consciousness.  Belief in the transmutability of DNA has proceeded beyond the tipping-point, thus allowing a shift in human consciousness.  As “They” say, this free-DNA information will soon become common knowledge.

Access New Energy Now - 2008

Access New Energy Now

Over the past year, the wireless mouse that goes with my computer became recalcitrant unless I used every day.  Typically, it would freeze up and refuse to connect until my vibrational alignment was compatible with my computer work.  Monday was one of those days.  At about 11:00 AM, I finally took a deep breath and relaxed.  That is approximately when the mouse started working again.  Of course, my issue with the mouse was vibrational.  I had not cleared its energy or mine for almost two days.  The mouse needed a hard shutdown and restart to bring it back to life.  I needed some yoga and stretching to calm my mind in a way that some call meditation.

Attending to my personal and spiritual needs was nice to think about, but I had just put myself through a weekend without a conscious pause.  Feeling wide-awake as I lay in bed that night, I realized that other than sleeping, I had not stretched my muscles or relaxed my brain in almost two days.  Over the past couple of months, I had started a daily stretching routine.  Now, such previously frivolous activities are necessary for my continued good health.  More than any other personal issue, a good life flows from good health.
The San Francisco Golden Gate, in the golden light of sunset, December 2004 - Click for larger image (http://jamesmcgillis.com)
Getting up, I went into our exercise room and settled down on my yoga mat, and then breathed in as necessary for a full energy clearing.  Over the years, I have noticed that creative ideas happen often while I am meditating and doing yoga.  It is like a game, where I can hardly wait to see, feel and become whatever it is that my subconscious has put in store for me now.

There I was, posed on my yoga mat, feeling the energy clearing all around me, then leaving me in a bubble of enlightened energy.  This is not me bragging about my personal enlightenment.  The Energy Bubble was the Enlightened One, leaving me wanting ever more of the same.

On November 19, 2007, a hearty band of 325 human souls in Taos, New Mexico celebrated a Quantum Leap in energy .  Although appearances tell us that we had a slow manifestational start, new consciousness orchestrated changes in events that opened many of us up to the potential of new energy realities.  It does not take millions of people to change the course of history or help to create a better outcome for Gaia, our Mother Earth.  According to scientific evidence, it takes as few as the square root of one percent of the affected population to shift energies to what computer scientists might call a “new platform” or physicists would call a “new state”.

I will not endeavor to tell the whole story of new energy here.  For easy listening or reading on that fascinating subject, check the Crimson Circle website.  Register for the free “Channel Library” and then tap in to this valuable information.

Before I give examples of access points for new energy, may I remind you that new energy is available free of charge and in unlimited supply for all?  In the new energy realms, the concept of shortage is unknown and in fact does not exist.  “Shortage thinking” is one of the longest standing and strongest old-energy precepts.  It resides near the foundation of both our capitalist system and many of today’s organized religions.  The old-energy maven would say, “There is not enough of this old-energy to go around”.  Then, in unspoken collusion with other old-energy mavens, he tries to create artificial shortages of old-energy supplies whenever he can.  This drives up all old-energy prices and allows the old-energy maven to keep more of the old-energy supply, or money for himself.  The old-energy mavens think little about wrecking the world economy, starting or encouraging regional wars and generally wreaking as much havoc on the world as they can.  During the Vietnam War, there was a cynical, but all too honest appraisal of what was necessary for victory there.  “We had to destroy the village in order to save it.”

If the old-energy mavens had their way, they would suck, crush, blast or strip every old-energy resource from the Earth before they go.  The only problem with that concept is that the old-energy mavens are the least likely to escape their self-created and incipient ecological Armageddon.  Not known for their lighthearted approach to life, few old-energy souls would dare to dematerialize here or re-materialize on some New Earth.  More likely, they would hunker down and be the last to enjoy their fossil fuels, even as they, the last of the old guard spontaneously revert to a fossil-state themselves.

When comparing old-energy to new energy, an interesting fact emerges.  Some humans can bridge the energy gap by taking a leap of faith that there will always be a new and wonderful tomorrow, right here on Earth.  Old energetics will try to hold or pull us back to fear and shortage.  However, those who are able to rapidly access new energy shall just as rapidly break free of their old-energy bonds and habits.

New energy is not all about “solar, wind and biomass”.  Those were necessary and once novel approaches to energy production.  Their fatal flaw as “new energies” is that they are connected to the old-energy grid every bit as much as a "belch-fire", like the coal-fired Navajo Generating Station.  For many years, it held the record as the undisputed largest single source of old-energy gas emissions in the Four Corners region.

Luckily, new energy is much more whimsical than old-energy, with its connection to ancient conflicts and conundrums.  New energy is everywhere, waiting like Easter eggs to be found by us, the children of the Earth.  New Energy is abundant in water, light and in the air that we breathe.  Only our preconceived notions and fixed belief systems keep us from seeing or feeling that new energy is ubiquitous in Nature.

Relatively high rates of old-energy usage are locked into our current Earth-management system.  Here in the U.S., we must admit that old-energy helps us keep warm in the winter and allows us to travel across the landscape in our formerly beloved automobiles.  Because change does not manifest overnight, we shall live with gradually declining remnants of old-energy and old-energy thinking throughout the transition period.

Since the Quantum Leap in 2007, the new energies have more frequently shown themselves to me.  If you are an “old-energy reader”, you can stop here, because the balance of this article will not make any sense to you.  For those of you who are more curious than the typical old-energy maven, please read on.

Easy Access to New Energy

  1. Find a quiet place to lay out your yoga mat.  If possible, play some soft instrumental music in the background.  Sit on the mat, preferably facing towards a full-length mirror.  Assume your own personal version of the lotus position.  With your derriere planted firmly on the floor, touch middle fingers to thumb and point your palms to the sky.  Take in a deep breath and then let it out.  From there, breathe normally, but deeply as you go.  Time the duration of your inhalations to match that of your exhalations.  Count quietly or aloud, “One, two, three, four, five” on each inhalation and the same on each exhalation.  Over a period of time, you will intuitively learn to count at the same rate as your heartbeat, thus linking your heart rhythm to your breath rhythm.  We call that “Heart Breathing”, which is one portal into the realm of new energy.
  2. As a variation to what you just experienced above, assume your lotus pose, but this time place your palms and fingers together as if in prayer.  The prayer itself is optional.  Still, you might find that just sitting there in that pose and breathing deeply, you will naturally put out a prayer, offering your love to All that Is.  If so, do not be alarmed.  It is just You getting back in touch with your own Divinity.  Recognizing one’s self as part of The Divine is a second and very easy way to access the realms of new energy.
  3. As you sit, be sure to place your hands together, first at your heart, then in front of your face and finally above your head.  Notice how your energetic offering and acceptance changes with the position of your hands.  Raising your hands while in the prayer position symbolizes your own personal offering of love to All that Is.  Alternatively, with palms up, you open yourself to receiving new energy from the universal Source.  Note that new energy actually works in all directions simultaneously. 4. Over many years, I craved for revelation, which I hoped to receive from outside forces of a godly nature.  Imagine how funny it was for me to find that the key to unlocking what some would call “the secrets of the universe” is self-love.  Regardless of your current pose or bodily position, take a few moments and admire your reflection in the mirror that is before you.  Yes, initially it may be hard to look yourself in the eye, if only for the truth that your eyes might reveal.  Sitting quietly, breathe and allow yourself to love that person who shimmers there in front of you.  In so doing, you will discover another portal to new energy and universal love.
  5. For humans, love and intimacy go hand in hand, so give up denial and learn again how to love yourself in all of the ways that you desire.  Now having learned that it is always good to love yourself, take a good meditative look at your life and realize that all of your dreams really do come true.  This is yet another way for humans to open to new energy.
  6. As long as you are still sitting on your yoga mat, be sure to stretch your muscles and twist your torso around your spinal column.  In order to prevent injury, use care and proceed slowly.  Yoga is not a “weekend warrior’s” sport.  It takes time, perseverance and a desire to experience progressively more pleasurable emotions and feelings of your God's Eye Nebula - Click for larger image (http://jamesmcgillis.com)physicality, mixed equally with your own spirituality.
  7. On the concept of spinal rotation… often the athlete with the best-developed torsional-rotation around his or her spinal column is the most successful in their sport.  Picture a golf professional or perhaps a baseball star as they make their perfect swing.  Only here and now, All that Is asks you to be the star.  When you rotate your spine, you might hear and feel something in there go “pop”.  Traditional theory says that you are realigning your vertebrae and that your body does so with a mechanical “pop”.  In the era of new energy, we are coming to realize that the “pop” is the opening or reopening of our spinal cords to new channels of energy, as received from the universe.  In return for sharing our physicality with a largely non-physical universe, we receive a corresponding update to our DNA.  Think of it as similar to downloading a new operating system to your smart phone.  Suddenly, the whole device works better and you are startled to believe that it is true.  Soon, you accept this increase in functionality as an entitlement.  In the case of the human being, the irony is that you are both the updated device and the one who must judge its new effectiveness.  In a way, it is akin to asking a computer to think for itself. Vitruvius Man, surrounded by a star tetrahedron - (http://jamesmcgillis.com)
  8. Either way, if you “Twist again, like you did last summer, twist again like you did last year”, you will take another peek at what is available in the realms of new energy.  Is it any wonder that Chubby Checker introduced “The Twist” dance craze in July 1960.  If you remember the 60s, you know that when people everywhere began to twist, there was change in the world.

We could go on and give additional examples about access to new energy, but it is time to try it for yourself.  This is not the stuff of training programs and memorization.  It is personal, powerful and loving in Nature.  All you need is a relatively quiet place, a yoga mat, some free time and a desire to create your own future as you wish it to be.  Remember that new energy is fun, so smile as you contemplate your future, either here or on a New Earth.

Happy New Year 2009 to all and to All that Is.

When Seawater Laps at The Steps of The New York Stock Exchange...

Lately, have you had difficulty keeping track of time?  Do you have to stop and ask yourself whether it is spring or fall?  If so, do not be alarmed.  It is simply your first step on a path towards spiritual enlightenment.  It is not so much that your “forgetting” is good.  The good is that you are loosening the insidious bonds of time from your life.  If we are slaves to the clock or the calendar, we remove serendipity from our lives.

When we finally do “let go”, either at death or sooner, if we so choose, the resulting energy shift may be traumatic or sublime.  That depends on how far we have come along our spiritual path before unforeseen events take us rapidly to a new-energy place.  All that is required is a smile and a heady whiff from the smelling salts of gnost before we take the plunge or ascend to dimensions unknown.

If fear and old energy concerns hold you back, that is OK.  It may not be time for you to step forward and consciously intersect with all that this life and our universe have to offer.  In the U.S., even the fear mongers have taken up the mantra of hope and change.  They may recognize the power of the rhetoric, but embracing the reality of change is too great a stretch for the unaware or the unenlightened.  Old-energy power does not prevail in the new-energy world.

If you have followed what we call the “spiritual movement” over the past several years, or if you are an Oprah fan, you have heard many new terms, such as New Earth, Spirit, New Energy, God Within, Source Energy and Quantum Leap.  If you recognize even three or four of these terms, you are shifting your awareness and awakening to your own spiritual path.

None of this need be a problem for you or your loved ones.  The situation stems from an agreement that you made with yourself, prior to birth.  Simply put, you decided to forget your divine origins and to plunge deeply into the “reality” of the physical world in which we live.  For quite a while, that was fine.  However, deep inside you there was always a mixture of yearning and love that you could not gulp back down into its place, to again forget.  All energy seeks resolution and the yearning, love energy within you is no exception.

If you question the validity or truth of your own divinity, why are you reading this information?  You came here for a reason.  That reason involves your own personal spiritual quest.  It is your adventure on Earth and the meaning of your life is there for you to discover.

Many, having taken this path before you, are waiting to help you along the way.  All you need do is relinquish control and allow your fears to drift away, into the mist.  If fear or doubts persist, verbalize your request for help.  Help well be summoned and delivered to you in a form that you can easily accept and understand.  All you need to do is open up your heart and allow that help into your life.

How does this, your life, all turn out?  Do not ask me.  It is your life and you are free to create your own positive outcomes.  I am only here to point out that it is your choice to accept or ignore the many signs around you.  If you look with fresh eyes, listen with fresh ears and open your heart to All that Is, wisdom and truth will follow you everywhere.

One year ago this week, at midnight on September 17, 2007, the earth quietly transformed her energy state.  On that date, over three hundred Shaumbra attended the Quantum Leap Celebration in Taos, New Mexico.  Skeptics will say that scientific instruments recorded nothing and therefore nothing happened.  Some people enjoy saying that if you cannot directly measure something, it cannot be real or true.

Admittedly, three hundred and twenty-five sounds like a small number of people to effect a quantum change in the earth’s energy state.  However, there were far more attendees than the intrepid few mortals who found their way to Taos last fall.  Listening in for three days of live internet broadcasts, thousands more humans received tidings of a new-energy.  Beyond that, there were untold numbers of non-physical beings in attendance.  Slipping into Taos from their home dimensions, they felt what was going on and added their love and wisdom to the mix.

Other than a fireworks display and a thunderstorm that visited overnight, there was not much to prove that there had been a worldwide quantum leap in energy.  Some felt it.  Others did not.  Some were skeptical and others were true believers.  There was no correct or incorrect response.  At that time, I was somewhere between the two poles.  If you are unfamiliar with the Quantum Leap Celebration, read the two articles I wrote about it one year ago, at "The Quantum Leap" and "Hasta la vista, Taos, New Mexico".

The moment of the Quantum Leap was September 17, 2007 at midnight Taos, New Mexico time.  I did not stay in the auditorium that night.  Instead, I went out to dinner with friends.  By not staying in the room until midnight, I demonstrated to myself that the new, “quantumized” energy was available in all places, not just at its point of inception.  Tobias, as channeled by Geoffrey Hoppe, had said that September 17, 2007 would feel like any other day.  For me, that was true.

So much has happened since then, for each of us.  Now there is a tremendous change in energy across the land.  No one knows whether fear or hope will win the day.  Even if fear wins, we can still have hope.  Hope is not dependent on the election of any one candidate.  Old-energy, as exemplified by the greed and corruption in our financial markets may soon lose power on Wall Street and in Washington, DC.  Interestingly, under the most conservative administration in memory, the U.S. is rapidly becoming a socialist state.  The U.S. government now owns the two largest corporations in the world, Fannie May and Freddie Mac, as well as AIG Insurance. Nowadays, small fry like Bear Stearns and Lehman Bros. barely warrant mention.  As we went to press with this document, the U.S. government had just injected $180 billion into the international money markets.  Just whose money was that?

This week, after twenty-eight confused and violent years, Robert Mugabe gave up power in Zimbabwe.  Zimbabwe is the Heart of Africa.  Its spiritual journey towards hope and freedom, although not guaranteed, has at last begun.  Their new Prime Minister, Morgan Tsvangirai will not prosecute Mugabe for his crimes against the state or humanity.  Mugabe’s new task is to reflect on his prior actions and their consequences for his fellow citizens and all of humanity.  From the shadows of war-torn Africa, a ray of hope now shines brightly, to All that Is.  As we encounter that ray, it penetrates our hearts and allows compassion, for Robert Mugabe, for Africa and for all of humanity.  This is true, for we are one.

As recently stated by Deepak Chopra, we have our own shadows to deal with here in America.  Although there are no guaranteed outcomes, the tide is turning.  Regardless of who become the next president and vice president of the United States, the winds and tides of change are now rising to storm-surge levels.  If you need further proof, view post-hurricane pictures of beachfront real estate along the Texas and Louisiana coasts.

Such events are not God’s retribution for poorly lived lives.  The cause is Gaia, our own Mother Earth cleaning up her energy before she turns the whole planet over to us – the human beings.  Whether humans caused global warming or not is immaterial.  What does matter is dealing with this energy shift in such a way that we do not knowingly put millions of people back in the path of fiscal or physical disaster.  When seawater laps at the steps of the New York Stock Exchange, will the old-energy players still be ignoring the real issues of our day?
