Anima and Animas
Greetings, from Durango, Colorado
. In the two years since I last visited here, the town has continued to
grow, especially in terms of new residential construction and traffic.
During the evening rush hour,  it often feels like Phoenix, AZ. The
town still has great energy and the 6500 ft. elevation gives it that
“Rocky Mountain feel”.  Soon, the aspen leaves will be turning to yellow
 and gold.
My coach is located at an RV Park in the Upper Animas River Valley, north of
   .jpg) town. This
valley, as opposed to the town, is still relatively pastoral and
rural. After spending the day getting my truck serviced and buying
supplies in town, it is a pleasure to be back where it is quiet and the
traffic is far away.

This Saturday, and for the following five days, Carrie McCoy and I will be in Moab, Utah. Look for special reports from Moab.
